Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 11, 2026
This site is small and simple, and so is this policy. We don't show ads, we don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell your personal information. Visitor statistics (Google Analytics) only run if you say yes. Below is everything we collect, and why.
Who we are
Miniature Designs (miniatures.artblibs.com) is operated by Artblibs. When this policy says "we," "us" or "our," it means Artblibs. You can reach us any time at info@artblibs.com.
Information we collect
The quiz. Your quiz answers stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to us or stored. If you press "Share my room," the link only holds the name of your result.
Free wallpapers and your email. To unlock the free wallpapers for a room, you enter your email address. When you do, we store:
- your email address and which room's wallpapers you unlocked;
- whether you checked the box to receive our occasional emails, and if you did, when you checked it and the exact wording of that box (your opt-in record);
- the date and time you signed up (and last returned), where you signed up (the quiz), your browser's user agent (browser and device type), and a scrambled, one-way hashed version of your IP address. We use the hash only to stop spam and limit repeated sign-ups. We never store your IP address itself.
Tiny Room Stylist (our room game). Your game, score and finished rooms stay in your browser. When you finish a room and enter your email to get your rewards, we store the same details as for the wallpapers (your email, which style, your opt-in choice, the date, your browser type and a hashed IP), with "niche-room" as the place you signed up. We also send you one email with a link to your room in 3D. That link only holds a short room code (for example jp-ABABBAA), never your email.
Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.
Information collected automatically.
- Server logs. Like nearly every website, our web host (Hostinger) automatically records basic technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
- Analytics, only if you opt in. If you click Accept, we may use Google Analytics to learn which pages and rooms people look at. See Cookies, analytics and your choices. Google Analytics is not switched on at the moment.
- Local storage. Our site saves two small items in your browser:
miniatures-consent(your privacy choice) andmini-wall-<room>(a signed code showing you unlocked that room). Our room game adds a few more, listed below.
How we use your information
- To give you your wallpaper downloads, and to let you download them again later without re-entering your email.
- To give you your Tiny Room Stylist rewards, and to send you the one email with your room link.
- To send you occasional emails about new tiny worlds, but only if you checked the box.
- To answer your messages and handle privacy requests.
- To prevent spam and abuse, and to keep the site secure and working.
- If you allow analytics, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
How we share it — we do not sell your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are used in California's privacy law). We don't use your information for targeted advertising.
We only use a few service providers to run the site, and they may process information on our behalf:
- Our web host, Hostinger, which runs our server and the database where sign-ups are kept. We keep your email on our own hosting, not with a mailing-list company. If we ever start using an email service to send news, we'll update this policy first.
- Google Analytics, only if you click Accept. It runs with Google signals and ad personalization turned off.
- jsDelivr and cdnjs, which serve the free code libraries our room game uses to draw in 3D and make PDFs. They may see your IP address when the game loads. No cookies are set.
- Google Fonts, which serves our two typefaces (Fraunces and DM Sans). Google may see your IP address when the fonts load. No cookies are set.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transfer (for example, if the site is sold).
Affiliate links
Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking a link takes you to the retailer's site, where that retailer's own cookies and privacy policy apply. Other links lead to other Artblibs sites, such as our sister style sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Cookies, analytics and your choices
When you first visit, we ask what you allow. You can change your choice at any time with the button below or the Your privacy choices link at the bottom of every page.
Essential (always on). These are stored in your browser's local storage, are not sent to anyone else, and are needed for the site to work as you expect:
miniatures-consent: remembers your privacy choice (and whether it came from a Global Privacy Control signal). Kept until you clear your browser data.mini-wall-<room>: remembers that you unlocked the wallpapers for a room, so you don't need to enter your email again. It holds a signed code (valid for one year), never your email address. It is only sent back to our own server to fetch your download links. Kept until you clear your browser data.trs-progress-v1,trs-style,trs-mode,trs-sound,trs-thumbs-v1,trs-odd-v1andtrs-gate-<room>: used by Tiny Room Stylist to remember which rooms you finished (with a small picture of each for your display shelf), your Clean or Pixel look, which game you last chose, whether sound is on, your best Odd One Out scores, and that you unlocked a room's rewards (a signed code, never your email). Kept until you clear your browser data.
Analytics (optional, only with your permission). If you click Accept, we may use Google Analytics to count visits and see which rooms people look at. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<id> (kept for up to 2 years) and collects things like the pages you view, your approximate location, device and browser. Google Analytics is only loaded after you click Accept. If you choose Essential only, it is never loaded, and if you change your mind later, we remove its cookies. At the moment Google Analytics is not switched on at all; if we turn it on, we will ask you again.
Global Privacy Control. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends one, we treat it as an opt-out: analytics stay off and we won't show the banner. You can still choose Accept yourself through Your privacy choices.
Do Not Track. There is no common standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, so we don't respond to them separately. Since we don't track you across other sites and analytics stay off unless you opt in, this makes little difference here.
Clearing storage. You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser's settings (usually under Privacy, "Clear browsing data" or "Cookies and site data"). If you do, we'll ask for your choice again, and you'll need to enter your email again to re-download wallpapers.
We only send news emails if you checked the box when you signed up. Every marketing email we send will include an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe, or ask us to delete your email address completely, by writing to info@artblibs.com. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. (If you unsubscribe but don't ask for deletion, we may keep a record that you unsubscribed so we don't email you again.)
Your US state privacy rights
If you live in California (under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) or in another state with a comprehensive privacy law, such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and others, you may have the right to:
- know about and access the personal information we have about you;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete your personal information;
- get a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. (We don't do any of these, but you can still tell us, and GPC signals are honored.)
How to make a request. Email info@artblibs.com and tell us what you'd like. To verify it's you, we'll reply to the email address involved and ask you to confirm. We respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time where the law allows.
Authorized agents. You can have someone else make a request for you. We may ask for proof that they're authorized and ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We'll review it and let you know the outcome.
No discrimination. We won't treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
California "Shine the Light." We don't share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us their email address, contact us at info@artblibs.com and we'll delete it.
Data security and retention
Sign-up data is kept in a protected database on our host that can't be opened from the web, IP addresses are only stored as a one-way hash, and download codes never contain your email address. No method of storing or sending data online is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we keep. We keep sign-up data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited time under its own policies.
Visitors outside the US
This site is run for visitors in the United States, and your information may be processed wherever our host operates its servers.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
